IBC-VSNE Basava Jayanthi Dasoha Food Drive 2023

We received generous donations in cash and food items from our community to help achieve our Dasoha Food Drive goal of donating 2,000 pounds of food.

June 3, 2023, Saturday morning, group of diverse volunteers from our community including ladies, children, gentlemen, members & EC of both IBC and VSNE took their personal valuable weekend time, came and helped deliver the food items to the food pantry, St. John’s Food for the Poor Program in Worcester, MA.

Food pantry expressed its gratitude to the entire IBC and VSNE community members. Also sincerely appreciated the Dasoha food drive and thanked volunteers for delivering the food items donations inside the food pantry. According to Mike, one of the food pantry person-in-charge, our donation of food items would meet about 5-6 months’ need for the pantry. It’s worth taking note and being proud of this accomplishment by our community.
